SOUTH AFRICA - is one of the worlds great tourist destinations. Victoria Falls is the most memorable natural site in Africa. Here the Zambezi river widens to 1.7 km. and then plunges 355 feet into a boiling chasm, formed by erosion over millions of years and produces columns of spray that can be seen 50 miles away. Amazement at this spectacular sight can be complemented by the thrill of taking a wild white-water rafting trip through the gorge, Sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River and Canoe adventure on the Upper Zambezi.
